Steve Hanna is a Distinguished Engineer at Infineon Technologies, responsible for IoT security strategy and technology on a global scale.
As a recognized security expert, Steve leads multiple standards groups. In the Matter Working Group of the Connectivity Standards Alliance, he serves as the Vice Lead of the Threat Model Tiger Team, the Lead of the Security Design Tiger Team, and the Lead of the Security Use Cases Tiger Team. Additionally, he is a Director on the Alliance’s Board and chairs the Product Security Working Group. He co-chairs the IoT Work Group within the Trusted Computing Group and is a member of the Security Area Directorate in the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF).
With a robust background in information security, particularly in software and systems, Mr. Hanna is an inventor or co-inventor on 48 issued patents, has authored numerous standards and white papers, and is a frequent speaker at industry events. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Harvard University.
