ABOUT THE POSITION

Keyfactor is looking for a highly qualified and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our development infrastructure team at our headquarters in Solna, Sweden. The development infrastructure team is providing the tools, processes and environments to create our software products.

We are looking for someone who breathes and lives DevOps. Automation, CI/CD Infrastructure as Code and working with open-source technologies are the main pillars of our work. We are currently in the transition from a on premise heterogenous and mainly virtualized development infrastructure to a cloud and containerized based infrastructure and need help!

You will be part of a team consisting of very experienced DevOps architects and play a vital role in the communication with the product development teams in Solna to improve their experience with the new development infra. You will help containerizing our products, establish continuous integration pipelines, create golden paths as well as educate the teams in the usage of the new technologies. You will also be responsible for the operations of the infrastructure. In addition, as part of our ambition to continually improve and innovate you will work to improve our existing development infrastructure, contribute with new ideas and be able to add new features and redesign.

The position is based in our Stockholm office, we have hybrid work pattern and excellent flexible working practices. Applicants must hold a valid right to work in Sweden.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining and migrating pipelines from Jenkins to JenkinsX for Maven, OCI and Helm artifacts and enable CI/CD
  • Deploying and operating environments and dev infrastructure in Kubernetes using GitOps
  • Automate provisioning of infrastructure using Ansible, Terraform, Bicep, ArgoCD and crossplane
  • Operations and monitoring of our infrastructure, including alerting
  • Work together with the Product Owners, Architects and our Q&A, IT and Development teams to improve the development infrastructure, transfer knowledge help or establish golden paths
  • Work in an agile fashion to ensure proper implementation and architecture

Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you most likely have:

  • Strong demonstrable experience working as a DevOps Engineer for a software product development company including the operations of IT infrastructure
  • Implemented a full CI/CD stack
  • Deployment of containers with Kubernetes (or OpenShift) via HELM
  • Experience in containerizing software, which were not designed to be a microservice (or containerized) initially
  • Excellent knowledge of:
    • OCI Containers (Docker)
    • Kubernetes (or Openshift)
    • Jenkins (or similar)
    • Ansible, Terraform, Bicep (or similar)
    • GIT (preferable Gitlab)
    • HELM
    • Grafana, Mimir, Prometheus and Tempo
    • SRE or DevOps Practices
  • Good knowledge of:
    • Working with Virtual Machines
    • Linux command line
    • Java software development and architecture
    • Databases/SQL, CAP theorem
    • Software development in agile environments
    • Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and software development life cycle
    • Experience in working with the Azure platform
  • Knowledge of Jenkins-X, GitOps, Artifactory, crossplane, ArgoCD is advantageous
  • Knowledge in developing resilient secure software, supply chain assessments and designing a system for zero trust is merited but not mandatory
  • It will be advantageous if you have an understanding and general knowledge of IT security, PKI and open-source software
  • Experience working in an Agile SCRUM framework
  • Fluency in English
  • Degree in computer science, engineering, or related field would be a plus!
