About the position

The Senior Accountant will perform month-end reconciliation, general accounting, and bookkeeping. The right candidate will have strong experience in Swedish GAAP as well as tax regulations for VAT and employer tax.

The position is based in Stockholm office, follows hybrid work model with excellent flexible working practices. Applicants must hold a valid Right to Work in Sweden. 

Responsibilities

  • Perform statutory reporting (Tax filings, VAT etc.)
  • Ensure GAAP and federal, state, and local tax compliance. Final approval for all Vendor bills
  • Deliver general ledger accounting and owning monthly reconciliations for most general ledger accounts for the entities Primekey Solutions AB, Primekey SAS & Crypto Workshop.
  • Effectively communicate with 3rd party statutory reporting consultants at Caderas Martin & F.G. Fintax for subsidiaries Primekey SAS and Crypto Workshop in relation to general ledger accounts.
  • Execute and develop the ISO supplier assessment.
  • Complete soft month close and hard quarter end close for the Primekey group within 4 business days.
  • Coordination of payroll process & communication with 3rd party payroll provider Accountor.
  • Assist with implementation of new functionality onto Netsuite and system development.
  • Assist in maintaining accounting system integrity and strong internal controls.
  • Assist with annual audit.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned

Skills and Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience in accounting required
  • Intimate understanding of functionality of ERP’s, Including AR, AP, GL, Customer Reports, and KPI's
  • Strong knowledge of all Swedish tax regulations, relating to VAT, Income tax and employer tax.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communications skills
  • Solid, current accounting skills
  • Self-starter, Experience in a high tech, software company preferred
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, and team-oriented and thrives in an independent, get the job done environment.

Compensation

Salary will be commensurate with experience.
