Jordan Rackie is the CEO of Keyfactor. Jordan is responsible for setting the company vision, driving both top- and bottom-line results, and managing Board relations. Under his leadership, Keyfactor has surpassed $130 million in annual recurring revenue, achieved 525% three-year revenue growth, and received a substantial investment from Sixth Street Growth – bringing its valuation to approximately $1.3 billion in October of 2023. Since that investment, the business has grown by another 50%. Jordan’s top focus is unwavering – driving tremendous value for the entire Keyfactor ecosystem; inclusive of 2,000+ customers, 300+ partners, and 500+ employees. Experienced in M&A, Jordan has integrated multiple businesses into Keyfactor, including Sweden-based PrimeKey and Spain-based RedTrust.

Ted Shorter is the Chief Technology Officer and co-founder at Keyfactor. Responsible for Keyfactor’s Intellectual Property development efforts, Ted helps align Keyfactor’s focus with the changing security landscape, ensuring our clients understand the importance of crypto-agility.

Ted has worked in the security arena for over 25 years, in the fields of cryptography, Public Key Infrastructure, authentication and authorization, and software vulnerability analysis. His past experience includes 10 years at the National Security Agency, a master’s degree in computer science from The Johns Hopkins University, and an active CISSP certification.

Personal Highlights – Ted lives in Akron, Ohio with his wife Marcie and two sons Christopher and Caleb. Ted is an accomplished musician and played in a rock band for a number of years in Baltimore, MD. He is a passionate sports fan, and actively follows baseball, football and various forms of auto racing. Ted has held notable speaking engagements at RSA 2005 – San Francisco, RSA Power Days – Chicago & New York, and FDIC Threat Briefing – Washington, DC.

Ellen Kindley is the change agent for growth at Keyfactor — specializing in all things strategy, process, data management & analytics, and internal technologies. At its core, the business transformation team is tasked with advancing the value creation agenda of Keyfactor by converting strategy into measurable plans and well-executed implementation.

Ellen is passionate about laying the foundation on which SaaS startups can scale and grow – always striving to be the driving force for productivity improvement. Every step is data-driven as she sets initiatives and priorities, evaluates gaps and executes improvements.

Ellen previously operated as the head of Business Operations at QASymphony where she helped successfully set the stage for hyper-growth which included multiple rounds of funding and eventually a merger with industry leader Tricentis.

Ellen holds a B.S. in Accounting and Legal Studies from the College of Charleston in Charleston, SC.

Gail is a global HR executive and strategic thinker with proven experience transforming people organizations and developing Human Resources & Employee Experience strategies aligned with business goals.

Gail’s focus at Keyfactor will be tapping into her 20+ years of human resources experiences to translate Keyfactor’s vision and business strategy into HR initiatives that support the hiring, onboarding, cultural well-being, talent optimization, and management of our rapidly expanding global organization.

Gail holds a bachelor’s degree in interpersonal communications with an emphasis on organizational behavior and business administration.

Outside of work:

Aside from enjoying time with family and friends, Gail is passionate about giving back to her surrounding communities.  She currently resides on the Board at House of Champions, a non-profit organization here in Cleveland, Ohio.

Scott Meyerhoff joined Keyfactor in 2024 as chief financial officer (CFO). Before Keyfactor, he was CFO at EmployBridge and InComm, overseeing its finance, accounting, and FP&A teams. During his tenure with these companies, Meyerhoff completed multiple public debt and equity offerings, raising in excess of $1 billion. He has also played a key role in over 100 mergers and acquisitions and has led two successful Initial Public Offerings.

Prior to joining InComm, Meyerhoff was employed in executive capacities at multiple companies, including Arthur Andersen, Intercept, Infor Global Solutions, and The Intersect Group. Under his direction, The Intersect Group was named to the prestigious Inc. 5000 List in 2010. In 2018, he was named “CFO of the Year” by the Atlanta Business Chronicle.

Meyerhoff attended Pennsylvania State University, where he earned a degree in accounting. He lives in Atlanta, Georgia.

Tomas Gustavsson is the chief public key infrastructure (PKI) officer at Keyfactor. He pioneered open-source public key infrastructure with EJBCA, now embraced by over 3,000 downloads per month. With a background in computer science, Tomas established EJBCA to fortify trusted digital identities globally. He advocates for cybersecurity through innovation, collaboration, and open-source principles.

Dan Michael is the chief sales officer at Keyfactor focusing on driving revenue growth globally. In this role, he is responsible for supporting Keyfactor’s enterprise field sales engine, which includes sales, sales engineering, and sales development.  He facilitates a benefit-oriented selling motion aimed at solving the critical challenges plaguing today’s markets.

His most recent infrastructure software sales experience includes HashiCorp and Hortonworks. As a former entrepreneur, Dan always prioritizes the best interests of the companies with whom he does business.

Jamie Walker is the Chief Marketing Officer at Keyfactor. In this role, she is responsible for driving growth, brand awareness, and value creation.

Jamie is a results-oriented marketer known for accelerating revenue at scaling software firms. Passionate about mentorship and team-building, she excels in driving marketing transformations by leveraging people, process, and technology for hyper-growth. 

Previously, Jamie spearheaded demand marketing efforts, including client up-sell, digital strategies, testing optimization, account-based marketing, field marketing, and channel marketing, across multiple high-growth SaaS companies before joining Keyfactor.

Jamie holds a B.A. in Psychology from Saint Mary’s University in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Brandon Tubandt is Keyfactor’s Chief Customer Officer. In this role, he leads Keyfactor’s global customer strategy and operations, ensuring that every Keyfactor customer realizes the total value of the company’s security solutions.

Brandon is an industrial engineer by trade and was most recently a senior leader at PowerPlan. Responsible for ensuring overall customer success, he leveraged his years of technical and consulting experience in a complex software environment to develop successful customer-based programs while also maintaining a strong focus on building effective teams, particularly through periods of rapid growth and change.

Personal Highlights: Brandon was born, raised, and currently resides in Atlanta, GA, with his wife Kathryn and daughters Caroline and Elizabeth. He is a graduate of Georgia Tech with the highest honors and enjoys running, golf, following Atlanta sports, and spending time outdoors with his family.

Zack Cook is the Chief Accounting Officer (CAO) at Keyfactor, previously serving as SVP, Finance when he joined in 2021. In this role, Zack is responsible for leading the accounting and financial reporting & analysis (FP&A) functions, ensuring accuracy & transparency in our reporting, securing the necessary resources to deliver on target KPIs, and driving efficient scalable growth.

Zack is experienced in developing, leading, and growing the financial and operational function of high growth software companies. A licensed CPA, Zack’s previous experience includes public accounting at a Big 4 firm (EY) as well as leading the financial function as VP of Finance & Operations at Rigor where Zack was instrumental in its acquisition by Fortune 1000 company, Splunk (now acquired by Cisco). At Splunk, Zack helped spearhead the post-merger integration efforts before joining Keyfactor.

Personal Highlights: Zack was born, raised, and currently lives in Atlanta, GA with his wife, Melissa and dog, Jade. Zack is a Dean’s Scholar and graduate of Georgia Tech, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration concentrating in accounting and certifying in law & ethics. In 2019, Zack was selected to the invite-only Forbes Finance Council where he has been published in over 17 panel-based articles related to various financial topics including KPIs, fintech trends, and cost control. Outside of work, he enjoys time with friends & family, movies, trivia, fantasy football as well as staying active playing racquetball and striving for new Fitbit step badges.

Magnus Andrén holds a MSc in Computer Science and Engineering from Linköping University. He joined PrimeKey in 2016 with a background in Telecom. Magnus has previously worked in different management roles close to software development at companies like Ericsson, Basware, Enea Software, and Tilgin.

Personal Highlights:

Outside of work Magnus is an enthusiastic cyclist, mostly mountain biking, and skier. Interests he shares with the rest of his family including his wife and two sons. Magnus is based in Stockholm, Sweden.

Daniel Rodríguez is the general manager at Redtrust, Keyfactor’s Spain-based company. In this role, he is responsible for leading, managing and expanding both the Redtrust team and the product.

Daniel began his career at Redtrust in a technical role focused on cybersecurity and cryptography, growing into one of the company’s first product creators. Redtrust delivers a digital identity tool that provides centralized management for certificates and digital signatures. Daniel has many years of experience as a developer in the banking and public administration sectors. His technical background provides the business with a very strategic point of view which guarantees the development of the business while being on the top of technology.
Personal Highlights: Daniel was born and bred in Barcelona. He has two children: Candela and Cosme and he loves cooking for both of them as they are his most honest food critics. He is a fan of teamwork, skating, snowboarding and astronomy, but thinking about how he could challenge cybersecurity is what he probably likes the most.

Gün Akkor is the Chief Product and Technology Officer at Keyfactor. Gün helps align Keyfactor’s product operations, technology, and processes across the business, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of new product features and functionality aligned with Keyfactor’s strategic objectives.

Gün has been operationalizing technology for over two decades. Firmly rooted in the belief that building products that matter requires technology leadership that incorporates Product, Customer Success, Marketing, and Sales contexts into Engineering, he has led both Engineering and Product organizations in several market defining cybersecurity companies. Gün has a Ph.D degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from University of Maryland at College Park, and his previous work on satellite and hybrid communication networks has been published in various journals and conferences.

Personal Highlights – Gün lives in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with his wife and one daughter. He enjoys spending time with animals big and small, including his dog and cat, and occasionally with horses and donkeys. Gün is a passionate supporter of the performing arts and the Philadelphia Ballet, and dances Argentinean Tango.

Chris Hickman is the chief security officer at Keyfactor. As a member of the senior management team, Chris is responsible for establishing & maintaining Keyfactor’s leadership position as a world-class, technical organization with deep security industry expertise. He leads client success initiatives and helps integrate the voice of the customer directly into Keyfactor’s platform and capability set.

Prior to joining Keyfactor, Chris was Director of Technical Services at Alacris, an Ottawa based smartcard and certificate management company, which was sold to Microsoft and is now part of the Microsoft Identity Manager product suite. Chris has worked on PKI projects for organizations and firms including NATO, both the U.S. and Canadian Departments of Defense, Fortune 100 banks and financial institutions, manufacturers, insurance companies, telecommunication providers and retailers. He continues to be a trusted resource for enterprises looking to leverage digital certificates within existing portfolios and new product development.

Personal Highlights – Chris lives in Ottawa, Canada and enjoys traveling with his family, working on classic cars, and photography.
