Keyfactor is looking for a highly capable and motivated Java Developer to join one of our agile teams, at our offices in Stockholm. Your primary focus, together with the team is to support the continued growth of our flagship PKI Product offering. You have demonstrable experience in developing professional Java-based systems and have probably had an engineering role in a product business. While experience or an interest in this PKI, is meriting, it is more important for us to find someone who is passionate and capable, with the right mindset to be a part of helping us scale and become increasingly self-organizing. 

The position is based in Stockholm office, follows hybrid work model with excellent flexible working practices. Applicants must hold a valid Right to Work in Sweden. 


  • Software Development – Involves design and implementation of new features as well as maintenance and refactoring of existing features within the product code base. 
  • Intermediate architecture participation – Participate in design meetings to learn and provide input.
  • Participation in Agile ceremonies – Participate in Sprint Refinement, Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives, and Daily Scrums. 
  • Team collaboration – Work closely with other team members to devise solutions to code and architectural challenges.
  • Quality assurance – Contribute to ensure proper functionality of product features by reviewing code, writing unit tests, perform manual and automated test.


Technical Capabilities 

  • Proficient in Java software development and architecture. 
  • Experience with Java Enterprise (Jakarta EE). 
  • Good understanding of databases and SQL. 
  • Familiarity with Linux operating systems. 
  • Knowledge of web application server and container deployment. 
  • Understanding of RESTful API. 
  • Good knowledge of software development within Agile environments. 
  • Ability to develop secure software. 
  • Understanding of quality assurance methodologies and the system development life cycle.

  • Proven track record of working in an agile constellation, and very familiar with associated ways of working.  
  • Fluent in English, with excellent oral and written communication skills.  
  • Knowledge of PKI is meriting but not mandatory 
  • You hold a M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering/ relevant subject or have relevant equivalent experience. 


Salary will be commensurate with experience.
