Zack Cook

Zack Cook is the Chief Accounting Officer (CAO) at Keyfactor, previously serving as SVP, Finance when he joined in 2021. In this role, Zack is responsible for leading the accounting and financial reporting & analysis (FP&A) functions, ensuring accuracy & transparency in our reporting, securing the necessary resources to deliver on target KPIs, and driving efficient scalable growth.

Zack is experienced in developing, leading, and growing the financial and operational function of high growth software companies. A licensed CPA, Zack’s previous experience includes public accounting at a Big 4 firm (EY) as well as leading the financial function as VP of Finance & Operations at Rigor where Zack was instrumental in its acquisition by Fortune 1000 company, Splunk (now acquired by Cisco). At Splunk, Zack helped spearhead the post-merger integration efforts before joining Keyfactor.

Personal Highlights: Zack was born, raised, and currently lives in Atlanta, GA with his wife, Melissa and dog, Jade. Zack is a Dean’s Scholar and graduate of Georgia Tech, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration concentrating in accounting and certifying in law & ethics. In 2019, Zack was selected to the invite-only Forbes Finance Council where he has been published in over 17 panel-based articles related to various financial topics including KPIs, fintech trends, and cost control. Outside of work, he enjoys time with friends & family, movies, trivia, fantasy football as well as staying active playing racquetball and striving for new Fitbit step badges.
